Saw John Mayer 2 weeks ago in Paso Robles. Bliss. I also love him in a feakishly intense way. I even love his funny faces! Can’t wait to see him live again.

It’s funny you say that because I LOVE his music, I heart all his lyrics, I’m in love with the guy BUT when I see him perform, he makes these funny faces, and I literally have to close my eyes to enjoy him. Weird. Oh, well. I’m glad for IPods.

I’ve never seen John Mayer in concert, but I will say that his music speaks to me. That first CD got them through moving, graduate school and some difficult times.

I believe I read somewhere that Dave Matthews “found” Mayer and gave him a shot opening shows for DMB. DMB is fantastic in concert, and I imagine John Mayer to be right up there.

Next time he comes to town…
